It’s true that, often on Tumblr, fans of Cersei will talk about her in the context of her status as a victim, both of her abusive husband and of the misogynistic society of Westeros itself. But let’s be perfectly frank, Cersei was no angel. She has many flaws and…
A lot of people think that Cersei was much like Sansa when she was younger but i think that she was probably a lot more similar to Dany, especially as we see Dany’s character develop. Both long for the power that, as women in Westeros, they are not allowed, both struggle internally with the fact that even as they gain a higher status within the country, they actually aren’t gaining any power and are almost crippled by the promised affects of a prophecy (in Dany’s that she will be betrayed and in Cersei’s that no matter what happens she will be replaced as Queen).

You know when Daenerys and Aegon actually meet, i kind of want her to go into her giant speak about how she will take what is hers, and then for him to tell her that actually she isn’t actually supposed to inherit anything because according to the line of succession it would have gone from his father, to him, then his sister, Viserys and THEN Dany…. so in actuality “what’s hers” is the grand some of nothing…

Whoops…
